pouring blood

pouring blood

A Poem by Janice Fronek(red.panda)

Cutting open veins

Pouring out blood

Just want to feel pain

Passing out was no good

So walk out in rain

On top of a flood

Waiting for red to overcome fame

Pictures rolling in my mind

“Drip, Drip” painful sounds

Closing my eyes

Forgetting everything around

No where’s to hide?

Dropping to the ground

Tears fall, from the outside

Fill with so much hate

Wishing I would die

I might be mistaken

Leading up to suicide

Not asking for forgiveness

Heart beats fail, only my divide

My life wasn’t mine to take

The sense of hopelessness rivets this write... and this get right to the point of what's going to happen... and the rest just fills in the pieces. In the middle the contemplation kicks in with the question:

No where’s to hide?

and the ending takes this to the grave:

Fill with so much hate
Wishing I would die
I might be mistaken
Leading up to suicide
Not asking for forgiveness
Heart beats fail, only my divide
My life wasn’t mine to take
