Place me on your shelf

Place me on your shelf

A Poem by En.Ki

THIS WAS USED BY MY GOOD FRIENDS IN THE BITTER FORGIVEN AS A SONG ENTITLED SEPERATE... Thanks for using it and a few others Brandon...

I began to hide from you

Secreting my twisted view

Your words began to haunt me

Your mind put me to sleep

Place me on your shelf

With all your broken memories

Push my heart aside

To the place you could confide

I know you see me here

I can smell you all around me

But I never hear your words

Now you see right through me

View me from your distances

I place comfort in knowing

You feel nothing

Nothing at all

When I began to separate

Fading to the back of your faith

Your words began to haunt me

Your eyes put me to sleep

Place me on your shelf

With all your broken memories

Push my heart aside

To the place you could confide

Leave me here to burn

Collecting dust I should have learned

Nothings what it seems

When your life’s just a memory

Staring just to blink

My eyes began to sink beneath me

Your mind’s put me to rest…

Place me on your shelf

With all your broken memories

Push my heart aside

To the place you could confide.
