This Isn't Love

This Isn't Love

A Poem by Eccentric Soul
"

don't think too hard about this one, its written in three different perspectives and that's all you really need to know.

"
black
his eyes
his heart
the abyss i keep falling into

blue
his bruises
his voice
the color of him

warm
the alcohol
his skin
the feel of him against me

red
his blood
his threats
the words laced with poison

grey
his mistakes
his memories
the smoke from his cigarettes

cold
his past
his hands
the things that could have been

disgusting
what he is
what we both are
the longing for more than this

i hate him
i hate everything about him

his voice,
it wont leave my mind

his smell,
stuck in my senses

his colors,
the things that remind me of him

this isn't love
but its what we have
and god, do we hate it

i wrote this a while ago, i don't really care much about it. the reason for writing it is stupid too haha

I like how you changed up the points of views! Very creative. I see how you had person 1 first then person 2, then finally two voices together. Its format of words is pretty cool too.
Can't wait to read more of your stuff!
