hey, I can't help it if I was born silly.

The porcupines finally uncoupled

A stupid grin on the male’s snout

And the female happily snuggled

With a love story to brag about

The male suddenly started to rue

Hahaha...that was funny - "It's a business doing pleasure with you." Kind of paradoxical too, considering the porcupines are elated. But then again, they couple not for pleasure, for for sustaining. So in a way it is business.

Woody, this would work better as a story. You've got a great punchline, and you could describe--without being too graphic, I hope--how these porcupines met and wooed, etc.
