DAVID LEWIS PAGET, one of our all-time accomplished poets in the entire poetry universe has moved-on to a higher realm.
As he was (and is) mine, I feel confident he's also one of your most revered poets. I am sincerely sad to hear of his departure, except to say that he's left us a treasure trove of remarkable works here, and in his many books, as a healing ointment for the pain from our loss (find his books on Amazon.com).
What a splendid man he was, on many levels … an individual to admire for the amazing plethora of his life's servings and callings … a "Man's Man", who shall be remembered by the many who knew and admired his lifetime's and poetical accomplishments, I feel quite certain.

"THE LATEST FROM TATE MORGAN"
Richard, three days ago, I got a note from David's son and one of his best friends, a woman, to tell me that he had passed away at 8 AM that morning. He had diabetes, he had heart trouble, he had Covid. He didn’t believe in the shots for Covid and had, had a heart attack years before. All of that led to his final demise. I believe he died of a heart attack.
I was grieved to hear it. He was the premiere poet of our age … Tate
