Born With A Glitch

I've had a speech impediment my whole life and still struggle with it to this day. Holds me back in many aspects of life.

Born with a glitch.

Struggle to convey.

Feel it build up.

Mentally rephrase.

Influent tongue.

Analytical mind.

Songs left unsung,

and my life left confined.

It's not much consolation but there are few of us born perfect. I always felt a bit different, a bit of an outsider and then discovered well into my life that I had bipolar. That explained a lot!
I like how you have kept your poem concise but it communicates your anguish eloquently.
