OVERCOMER

A poem about being an overcomer and how God has overcome this world.

I am an OVERCOMER

I use to walk in darkness
But now I walk in light
I am an OVERCOMER

The evil one use to live inside me
He bruised my heel, but I crushed his head with my feet
I am an OVERCOMER

I use to be a part of this world
But now I am a traveler and this world is not my home
I am an OVERCOMER

I use to be chained down by my addictions
But now I have been set free
I am an OVERCOMER

I use to be scared of death
But now I have defeated it
I am an OVERCOMER

Now that I have Jesus in my heart I am more than a conqueror
With him for me who can be against me
I am an OVERCOMER

In this world you will have trouble
But take heart for he has defeated it

He overcame the devil
He overcame temptation
He overcame sin
He overcame the grave
He overcame this world
HE is an OVERCOMER

Great write, and a beautiful, strong and powerful message, do not count on humans, count on almighty. no chance to get disappointment, Jesus overcame and triumphed when the society sent shards towards him, the strongest leader of the world and a true leader to follow, hunger, richness, positions nothing could get him even he was tempted so hardly after forty days of fasting, this poem is really worth to all irrespective of religious background mentioned, enjoyed and really impressed
