Losing Time

Losing Time

A Poem by Rocksie

What is art when people don’t have time,

To sit back and decide,

What they really feel?

What’s going on in their minds?

You sit and say “Someday I’ll…”

You put your dreams off “for a while”.

Next thing you know, that day’s today,

Then someday becomes yesterday.

You say your dreams have changed.

You let them down the drain.

Time moves so very fast.

You have to make it last, so

Don’t hide behind the mask

Of a desk-job loving a*s.
