On the spot poem to remind myself and others that a little change in the right direction goes a long way.

You don't have to be screaming to be heard.

A little voice that speaks the truth,

speaks in imaginable volumes

You don't have to run to be followed.

Sit down, force them to stop.

It shows as much as standing up.

You don't have to be old to be wise.

Your tools:logic and reason.

You'll accomplish the mission.

You don't have to be perfect to be great.

Don't let them ignore what you're sayin'.

Go out there. Do something. Create change.

Very nicely written!
I get the message you're trying to deliver pretty well. Everyone should go out there, do something and create change. I'm a fan of this life lesson in particular, that you can change things if you want to, no matter how hard it is.

Yes, it's like Steve Jobs said, "Things don't have to change the world to be important". If you spend your whole life avoiding doing things because they aren't important enough, you'll never do anything special. If you want to do something, do it. If things don't work for you, change them. People don't plan to change the world, they try and change their own little corner of the world and it spreads. It's a hard lesson to learn though, to just do something. Nothing will ever change if you don't change it yourself.

Very nice. Empowering and inspirational style writing. It is true that so many feel they have to be perfect or do nothing at all.
There is a saying...."ready, fire, aim"

You can google this concept and the background of it. Basically it is advice to business owners and entrepreneurs to do something and let the feedback give you information.

You can not know the exact perfect move all the time. Fire first , then fix your aim after the feedback comes in.

I've heard the concept before but I'll definitely look into it. I've been trying lately to stay away from the "All or Nothing" type attitude, and I think this poem was just a reminder to myself to just do something.

I agree with you about the "all or nothing" being a bad idea.
It leads to a lack of balance in your life. Balance is most important for mental, emotional, and physical well being.

Yes. Sometimes a great leap throws you off balance. It's a lot harder to tumble after a small step, but it is much easier to keep going that way.
