Medicinal Chocolate

Nothing cures the blues better than a piece of chocolate...or many pieces of chocolate.

Popping mini m&ms out of a
prescription pill bottle
will sorta ease the pain,

but here are the side effects:
Nausea, Stomach aches, Acne,
Headaches, Deleria, Fatigue and
Tooth Decay.

But man, it will help those heartaches.
If not fully, maybe a little.

You indulge your taste buds
to heal numerous events.
To help you forget
the numerous men.

Your current boyfriend
who wants nothing serious.
Sex is fine, but nothing like love.

The boys who tell you they love you
and than
will act like they never did.

The men who promised a future
but are stuck in the past.

The men who cheated.

The boys you grew out of

and of course
The perverts and players.

If only the chocolate prescriptions
came in a richer dosage.
Bigger pieces, and assorted flavors.
Oh, wait they do,
and they come in a heart shaped box.

Forget about drug counters
to cure break-up depressions.
I am heading to the candy store.
