Heavens above

Heavens above

A Poem by Sammy
"

Letting go is never easy. My nanna always wondered what I would write in her passing. This was wrote whilst I was losing her.

"
The silence in the room grows bigger, its deafening not hearing a word.
Tears flow like a raging river, no conversations like before not now your knocking on heavens doors.
Moments stay still, time is froze, holding your hand whilst you doze.
So peaceful so warm, love for you is forever more.
I won't leave you until your safe, when you feel grandads warm embrace.
We are around you showering you with love.
You'll be the hardest goodbye when you leave for the heavens above.
