Facade

Facade

A Poem by Martina
"

trap in my very own facade

"

I want darkness

I want to see red

I want to feel the liquid slide

I want you not to know

I promised you I will not hide anything

I promised you that I will tell you everything

But promises meant to be broken

I don’t want you in pain.

With each tear I cry I want you to notice

I want you to push through my façade

My heart is broken; I don’t know which path to follow

Ashes and dust is all I ever wanted

Torn, I want to fell into eternal sleep,

Secrets, I want you to push

Sorrow, I just want to make this world cold

Fade, I feel myself fading into my very own façade…
