The hippopotomus an the platypus

The hippopotomus an the platypus

A Story by Evan Kleve

The hippopotamus fell in love with the platypus. But the platypus didn't
love it back, so it climbed a mountain. On that mountain there was a
curtain, who told it that it was an idiot for leaving the hippopotamus.
So it went back to tell it it was sorry and that it actually did love
it, but the hippopotamus had moved on to the lemon. The platypus cried
its self to sleep with couscous each night after that.

@ Howl- It was never known. The lemon refused to speak to anyone but the dvd case. But it seemed to like spending time with the hippo. But still, it was never known.

I love this :) It is very silly, but kind of sweet, in a weird way... That silly platypus didn't know what it had until it was too late. One question, did the lemon love the hippopotamus back? I sure hope it did.

It's a beautiful story. My friend wrote a story like this one time. It had to do with a tree and a pinapple. Poor tree never got it's love returned.
