Liar

The title really says it all as to what this poem is about.

Liar

 

How can you live so earnestly lying to my face?

How can you hate me for memories you tried to erase?

I don't think you understand but you're see-through as glass.

Broken images and shattered songs are what you have tried to amass.

You never believed me when I was your best friend.

Now you snuff the torch that leads me to a righteous end.

You deny things you said just seconds before

and fill my mind with a false past I abhor.

You speak a queer language full of half-truth,

I speak as myself, I need no further proof.

Gorgeous. You can feel the emotion put into it and hear the pain and anger.
