A self-detrimental poem inspired by the master of self-loathing, Kurt Cobain.

Overbored

Watch this self

Intoxicated from self-righteous fantasies

Of saints and heretics both

What a pretty young girl

He can't see her beauty

He's too busy with his love

Is he damned from birth

He cries and screams

And prays some more

And sleeps most beautiful

Because he is the most perfect person in the world

He's nothing more than a piece of a small shard

He gives his father a gift

He takes it back and holds it tight

Too afraid of his benefactor and collaborator

He wishes he could be real

Both him and his eyes

Evil's always in his sight

And sometimes he even wonders

If there was a time he was bad

Looking back he realizes there was

So much left unsaid
