When will they
See
It’s pure love
Within me
Transcending the
Heart
From the deepest
Part

But

Trapped in themselves
Their truth
They do doubt

So

They stumble about
Entertaining the
Lies
That deceived and tries
To make them choose
Wrong

Knowing

They’ll be gone
Lost
And before long
They’ll be
Lost in the world
Out
In the cold
Forming a
Mould
From what they’ve
Been told

Soul

Being sold
Lonely and
Cold

Open and bare

Unsure and having
No care
Exposed to
Insecurities

Becoming weak

Knowing right
Doing
Wrong

Caught up in
The world’s song
Thinking
That’s where they
Belong
But
If you only know
It’s so wrong
When will you
See
The truth
And pure love
Within me
Look deeper
And
See.

First thing I would like to say is that the content of this poem was very interesting, well thought out and also "thought-provoking." Emotional and moving. The next thing is, the structure of this poem though it feels almost scattered, in all actuality gave a flow which allowed for an almost lyrical sense especially when you read the poem outloud. Already I am catching a rhythm that now I need to find from my free-style beats out of Spotify and say this poem outloud, I think it would work out very well. Nicely done!
