The Final Hour

The Final Hour

A Poem by Asmus Green
"

"I'm not afraid of death; I just don't want to be there when it happens." - Woody Allen

"
In my final hours, I shall think back to where I came from,To my
Roots
And in that glorious light, I will truly meet the one and true God.
Be it a figure of the old tales or maybe I shall meet the man I could have been, the man who could have shaped everything.
Death is a dream you experience once, and that alone is one too many.

I like the last line, "Death is a dream you experience once, and that alone is one too many." It's powerful in it's portrayal of death. Nice! :)
