The road of ink

The road of ink

A Poem by FaithfullyJennyBear

I'm on a roll,

No stopping me now.

I hit some bumps,

But I don't know how

To get out of this place

Of darkness and despair,

Where words don't exist,

No how, why or where.

I see the light,

I race to the door,

The words come back

I can write some more.

Smoothly driving,

My pen runs out of ink,

I start to panic,

My heart starts to sink.

I move on from one,

Useless, no care.

Go on to another,

It will take me there.

Back on the road,

The white, lined sheets,

Back on the road,

Where I'm destined to be.

Wonderful and powerful lines, Jenny! This is such a nice poem! Thanks for sharing! Indeed, we all plan our own escape from this world, to live in peace with ourselves!

That was very cool, you're like a wizard with words, like Harry Potter and alphabetty spaghetti or something :)

how d'you manage to rhyme so constantly and consistently? I'm very impressed. (both by the poem and the rhyme)
