The Greatest Pirate Fan

The Greatest Pirate Fan

A Poem by Falcon1
"

It was not by plan But He become the Greatest Pirate Fan

"

I
It was not His plan
But He became the Greatest
Pirate Fan
He watched his team

In the longest losing streak
In the history of MLB
A Twenty Year slump
The team in the cellar

Taking their lumps
Once Barry Andy and Bobby
Have left the outfield
The Pirates were in the nose dive

As a fan I did not know how I was going to survive
Now days I say I want to play center field
Andrew may be on his way out
along with Starling in left and Greg in right

We may not have a star in the outfield all night
I will still be watching my Pirates on cable tv
With guided interest by a number one fan like me
My oldest Brother would tell me Baseball

is fixed by the numbers
Player go where the money talks
Low market teams like my Pirates
are in trouble and just can not complete

with teams like LA BOSTON NY ATLANTA
That is the big market games
MLB plays but its minor League
teams like the Pirates I have to watch
Every year.

I love baseball too. My Detroit team is double A now. Nice photo and I hope you will do better than Detroit Tigers.
