Feeling Like Glass

So Clear anyone can see the blood on the other side

They laugh

They joke

Not knowing that every time they do it cuts deeper

Drawing more blood

More tears fall

Unhappy and confused

Lying to and Deceiving everyone who might have cared

Never mind the loss

Never mind the fear

No one cared enough to ask what happened or why

They turned a blind eye and laughed

The final blow was soon to come as life slowly departed
