Extinguished Star

Extinguished Star

A Poem by VilleVitte
"

A promise of connection, a broken promise, a broken hope.

"
The one of many stars has vanished,
it was extinguished,
all it hoped for,
was a mere genuine attention,
a couple of warm blinking,
nothing less, nothing more,
not blindness nor a stream of thoughts,
it means indifference,
no gratitude, no comprehension,
not realizing it, yet,
as if it never existed, as if it ever mattered,
it is too late, it already is no more,
it is gone, it has not reached you, yet.

I think this one is meant to show the interconnection of all things. Though the star is gone, its light will eventually reach us. Nothing exists in a vacuum.
PS: You might consider reworking line 5. There are two adjectives which need a noun.
