Love Me for Me

                                 Dad,

 

                                  love me for me,

                       and not for who you want me to be,

                                  I am who I am,

                     and that can never change for any man,

                           not even a man I call Dad,

                         Im sorry if it makes you sad,

                  even if it is as sad as you have made me,

                                for being me,

                              I am sorry but,

                              I am who I am,

                        and that will never change,

                               for any man,

                         even the one I call dad
