The Darkness

The Darkness

A Poem by Tazdevil

My soul is laying somewhere dark
I am trying to find it
The road is so dark and twisted
I have no light guiding the way
Was it my doing that made my soul leave

I can hear her crying out
She is in immense pain
I am trying to look inward for the answers

I can save her I just have to find my way back to her
Does she know where I turned black?
Will she let me save her?
Does she want to join with me again?

Maybe she does not want my hand
Maybe she wants to save her self
I fear she has died already

I feel myself falling
I am sinking quickly
Even if I cry out for help
I am not trusted

I close my eyes and listen

Nothing

I bow my head and hold it
Gabriela help me
I am lost
I am dying
I am taking my last breath

I am sorry, please tell them I am sorry

i find myself in this place all too often.

you may need to look at the set up and lay out of the poem. but it was still a good read! well done and thank you for sharing.

Blessed be.
