Faith, Hope

Hope can be a fading glimpse, A falling star, An acquaintance missed. Hope can be a long days end, Or to simply see a friend again. Hope can mean so many things, A new adventure for what it brings. To loose ones hope, And loose ones self, To put your dreams upon a shelf. Never give up the hope you feel, To keep the faith in your heart so real.

Like what fresh cherry said, it was very inspirational, leaving me warm inside, and thinking of good stuff. Like apples. Though it could probably make someone sad too, if they're feeling hopeless, or leave them longing for something they believe they don't have. You have powerful words, and seem to know very well, how to use them.

Thank you so much!!!! You are all so generous with your compliments and words of kind! I not pretending to be a poet or even a writer! I hated English class and dropped out of school only to join the military at 17. I'm just an old metal worker that likes to put feelings to paper, making them ryme is what's fun. Honestly if there's something that I can write that might open ones eyes or mind and give some thought or a smile, then that's just icing on the cake.
