Written awhile ago, but entirely fiction, don't anybody worry.

Every day and every night
As I lie awake in bed
Thinking of you and where you are
And the things I never said

Now you’re gone so far away
Somewhere I can’t follow
Because of promises of the past
My heart so cold and hollow

You left me and you didn’t care
The scars it left inside
The pain and darkness, Hell itself
Where all my feelings died

Now I’m just an empty shell
Breathing my last breath
That one bullet killed us both
We’ll meet again in death
