Communicate

It’s been a while since I’ve said anything.

S**t, it’s been a while since I’ve known how to say anything.

It’s like you’re pissed off the moment I try to talk to you.

Have I given you a reason for anger to ensue?

I don’t know what to say, or how to communicate but I know it takes two.

When I say “I love you,” why does your “I love you too,” no longer feel like it’s true.

I’m tired of wishing we were the way we use to be.

I’ve shed tears over the past wishing it was the previous version of me.

Mistakes are supposed to be made in the beginning.

How could you love me then and judge me now?

How could we be better as friends and enemies after the vows?

I’m asking you, will you just….just talk to me?

This is a good poem! I especially like the rhyming! Communication is so important in a relationship, no yelling, just talking! If you don't communicate, you have nothing!
