When Expendable Is More Than Just A Simple Word

We live in modern times of a modern day,

modern times where technology rhymes,

and anything we wish lies just beyond,

our fingertips of simply speaking,

“Alexa,” “Siri,” “Bixby,” or “Cortana,”¹

and the world, our lives, become animated.

We call ourselves Human in feigning,

pretending that we are Human Beings,

that Human Race we call Mankind,

but, in truth, we do deceive ourselves,

in choosing to forget who we really are,

the very baseness of our animalistic² nature.

For that exalted word we tout as Humane,³

does, actually, mean that Humans exhibit,

great compassion and caring for others,

an attribute deprived us by modern Society,

and, we are all clueless, we are mind raped,

reduced to no more than Sheeple-People Cattle.

Like a Heavy Weight Boxing Champion,

whose day in the sun has come and gone,

we do seek to cling to that long lost title,

wherein we feel pride in thinking ourselves,

human in assuming that we are humane,

thinking we show compassion and do care.

But, that day, if it ever once of never existed,

has passed with the setting suns of Civilization's,

plague-like onset of the new Societal Morality,

where all appears and does seem as so logical,

as long as, you, you, are not that one deprived,

of “Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of Happiness.”⁴

As long as it does not hinder our selfish lives,

we could honestly give a s**t less, if at all.

We are busy living out our own individual lives,

and have no time for worries about trivial things,

small things that are not our business anyways.

And so, the world around us grows ever so darker.

The Sun has set upon Humanity's gist of Humane,

and we are all but animals, creatures, with no name,

inane and adrift in a sea of madness we do think,

never realizing that we are all upon that one brink,

of ceasing to exist within worries of ceasing to exist,

as our minds have been drive wiped and so deleted.

Why do our eyes bug out at the latest Headline News,

some epitomized Social Media's post gone Viral?

Some person or persons have again now slaughtered,

men, women, and helplessly innocent school children,

butchering Human Beings as though they were cattle,

and we weep and we cry and we do wonder as to why!

The answer is blatantly and ever so fearlessly, clear,

when expendable is more than just a simple word,

and Society induced animalistic butchery's insanity,

has become the new norm's concept of guiltless status quo,

of that which is acceptably right and permissibly so.

If it is no longer wrong to slaughter an unborn child,

how can it be wrong to slaughter helpless school children?

To those no longer Human, it's but a matter of perspective.

FYI: I am a Women's Rights Advocate, who attests that what happens to a woman's body is her personal and private business, alone and indisputable. However, as an old man who has five children whom I do love dearly, I am a man who simply believes that adoption is a better option any day, than is a life terminating Abortion ... The World may, may or may not, be overpopulated as is commonly proclaimed and loudly touted, but America is not overpopulated, for America's population has arrived as a record and dangerous decline. If there are overpopulated nations, then, we should point the accusing finger at nations (in a friendly but frank way) such as India and China that do have the World's largest populations ... But! ... At the end of any day: Killing is killing, and we are all but pieces of meat once we lay dead and await those who will put us within the dirt of this Earth ... We should think about this common reality we all shall face, before depriving life to another ... And, if unborn children are not helpless and innocent, then, step up to the plate and explain to me, to the whole damn world, who is innocent ...
