How important are we, beyond our own self assessed rating of self importance? I believe in the importance of Human individuality, but not of Man's overall Significance to a Universe of Existence.

Oh why, ask I, am I here, what is the plan,

in stirring ones thoughts to contemplating,

the reality of our individual significance?

Our pompously over rated human significance

is of itself, all together, highly insignificant,

is, in fact, significantly insignificant,

in asserting anything consequential,

other than our insignificant existence,

which is, also, significantly insignificant,

-- significantly speaking, that is …

No matter how complicated or fancy,

we might wish to paint it, in spewing out,

sermons of religiously maniacal jargon,

or technologically philosophical orations,

to the common man, born to eat, and die,

we ain't diddly in context of relationship,

to the universe we are but a speck within

and the sifting sands of time immemorial --

relegated to a macrocosm of nonexistence,

as though we, in fact, had never existed ...

There is truly nothing new under the sun¹,

nothing of any merit, meaning, or purpose,

for what is today, shall not be tomorrow,

in becoming today in mindless repetition,

until that day, tomorrow, never comes ...

I have no self delusion's illusions of this piece being good Poetry, but it is my contemplative thoughts set to page where I can examine and analyze my personal perspective on Life and our Human existence within all of Existence ... There truly is nothing new under of beneath the skies gaze of our star we choose to call the Sun and have named and given the persona's personage of Sol ... From that first print of foot to sand or soil of that first man setting both feet upon earthy earth of this planet Man came to call Earth — I am not a supporter or advocator of the theory called Evolution, as I suspect that an extraterrestial origin for Man is just pliably unprovable as is that of Man from Ape, for there should be (must be) more than just one Missing Link out there somewhere if there was ever a link missing at all — men have pondered and contemplated the many whys of why we exist, how we came to exist, and for what purpose we exist with far too many giving such questions fill in the blanks for the gullible twists of their own slanted motives of full realization that occupation of any people or nation begins with ruling and controlling the Human Mind ... Walla!: The breach birth of Religion, the primal essence of anciently primitive governance, soon to be Organized and finessed into the beast that is Organized Religion with all of its rules that make dupes and fools of men who have lost control of their own minds, thus, their own lives in having willing ceased existing as Human Beings, and have allowed themselves to be transformed, via mental conditionings' programming, into fed-n-bred, milked-n-sheared, watered-n-foddered upon the killing floors of just one more war to end all wars, Sheeple People Cattle who look to the stars, when, perhaps it was from the stars from whence they came before their intelligence became inanely insane in total loss of cognizance that renders them as but Intelligently-Stupid ...
