Away from the sun,

Hiding alone,
Behind the full Blue Moon.

Away from the sun,
Where I can No longer be in the middle of the scorching fire,
Where I will be longing to burn for my only one.

Away from the sun,
Once my purpose,
And my desire,
My complete adoration,
Belonged to its beautiful light.

“Blind by the Light”
Was no longer a mere statement,
But a factor in my life.

I remained blind,
During the eclipse,
And when I could see the sun again,
Realization struck,
That the sun no longer shined on me,
I was left,
In the cold,
Dark,
Hatred of the world.
Left to defend myself,
From the snickering,
Hissing,
Flaming torture contained in the fire of other’s love for their sins.

Abandand and alone,
I felt the silver rain fall,
Not just from heaven’s dams,
And not just from friends and family,
But from my very own soul,
Now free from my burning body,
Set alight in the eyes of bystanders,
Set alight from the hands,
Of Ancient priest’s,
All against my choice of who my master was.

The Silver rain fell,
For darkness had consumed me,
For it had wrapped its black wings around me,
Letting the fire no longer hurt me.

The sun shined again,
Just in the middle of beautifully crafted golden gates,
A welcoming sing,
To a wonderful new home,
My master called,
And I sighed,
For he welcomed me home,
Not as his servant,
But as his child.

Indeed I was truly home.
