Evil Angel

Its about a girl and suicide, This was inspired by Breaking Benjamin's "Evil Angel". Please read and comment.

Oh evil angel,

Hovering over me,

With your blood smothered wings.

 

Is it the blood of your enemies?

Or the blood of innocence?

Angels and humans alike.

 

Oh evil angel,

With your crooked smile,

What evil idea has made your eyes look like they’re on fire?

 

Oh evil angel,

With your halo gold coloured hair.

Why is hate filling your heart setting me on fire.

 

Oh evil angel,

With blood red lips,

Spare me,

My life,

And I will show you,

How to free yourself,

From your hatred,

From your eternal damnation.

 

Oh evil angel,

What are you fighting for?

Why are you killing the Innocent?

Do you feel anything at all?

 

Oh evil angel,

Have you found your halo yet?

Have you found a purpose to live for in your state of immortality?

 

Oh ignorant me,

Its just my reflection,

A reflection of my broken,

Lost self.

Left to die alone,

From the kiss of a demon.

 

Oh naive me,

I yet again go into the world,

With a gun to my head,

A bomb wrapped around my torso,

Strong enough to blow up the world.

 

Killing my enemies,

And innocent bystanders as well.

Fulfilling my purpose to rid the world of evil.

 

Oh evil angel,

Wrap your wings around me,

Take me to your secret place,

Where all the forsaken immortals go,

Where I can be with my kind,

Where my pain will no longer turn to hate,

A place where nothing will ever fade away.

Oh Evil Angel.. What a fantastic write.. Took me deep inside to only turn me right around on your stanza of it being you, your thoughts of such that take you within the evil inside.. Nicely done, dark and forbidding..
