Lust Garden

They say A rose always  represents love

But why a rose

Roses start off pretty and frresh

until time starts to pass

 

Roses die and wither

They turn grey and petals fall

 

Love starts off pretty and new

It gets old and confusing

 

Thus love must die too?

This piece poses to the reader a constant conundrum. It think this piece isn't so much about the rose or A rose, it's about aging relationships and the struggle people have to keep them together. While all people are aware that beauty fades in time, and people change. Some are more superficial and see those topical changes as love fading. While others will see the love woven between two people, no matter how time plays upon them. I would think that the great question is not about love dying, but about questioning the up hill climb to fix any problems that have cropped up over time. It's a balance... one side are the faults and fixes required to fix them, the other side is what still working.

Not all roses are for love only red ones each colour has a different meaning. But that aside how true that love like the rose can indeed whither and die, how sad when either loses the first bloom of spring when even the April showers cannot match the kisses given and received. Beauty is not in the eye of the beholder but in the eyes of the one that holds you ( Inyourshadow 2011 tm lol ) now whatever the nightmare wipe those tears because remember always in the shadows is a friend. Keep em' coming
