Not Quite Right

Not Quite Right

A Poem by ForeverNever
"

Ever feel like a misfit?

"
Not Quite Right:
I'm like a that puzzle piece you see

That doesn't fit so perfectly

My body's too long but I'm not considered tall

If I walk too fast, I'm sure to fall

I'm not skinny or fat, just slim and full

I'm not popular, or hot, or even cool

My eyes are plain ole brown

Just like the dirty ground

My hair, not quite red

But burnt orange instead

My scars make patterns

like the rings around Saturn

My mind...oh my mind...crazy in my head

"Crazy"..."Insane"..."Cutter" they said

But the paranoia's the best

Among all the rest

Untrusting, unworthy, undeniably sad

Misguided, misused, mistakingly bad

Not quite me

But who's that exactly?

I'm like that broken puzzle, missing all its parts

The end is my beggining and where it all starts...

I think we have all felt this way at one time or another...an outcast or a puzzle that cannot be solved. You displayed this picture quite poignantly. The first line, take out the "a". Overall, nicely done.
