DreamingA Poem by Forgotten
Within the sanctity of my mind I dream,
The goals I have set seem reachable, And the path that I walk seems easy, Yet in reality the path is never simple, Covered with the debris of failure, It becomes a common obstacle course, Forcing me to stumble and trip. However with our dreams, The impossible becomes true, Yet we all have to come back down to earth, We all have to face the morbid reality, For what we dream is often a lost cause, Do not despair however, For as long as you dream there is hope. Your dreams are like a spiritual fire, For it will only burn out if you let it do so, As long as we can dream we can finally succeed, For every achievement and every task completed, We can smile upon ourselves, And watch as the dream manifests, Within the capable hands that build our paths.
