Where are the words

Because i hurt the one closest to me

You’re the one i treasure most,

yet the words for you seem to evaporate from my mouth,

I have all these words for you,

all of love,

but the words elude my mind and causes you the pain,

 

I know the words are "I’m sorry"

But i can’t find the way to say it,

your my greatest achievement,

yet you never hear it from me,

 

Sorry is still the word you deserve,

but the words hide in the shadows now taunting me,

your hurt and i don’t know how to fix this,

 

Your love is still there though,

you'll love me forever and you don't want to let go,

you want to stay together always,

you wasn't wrong i know how you feel,

I’ve always known,

 

The word I needed to say are finally here,

The words you deserve the most,

The words I’m sorry are no longer possible,

But these tell you everything I want to say,

 

Deep down in my soul the words linger on,

And they will live on for an eternity and an eternity after that,

Hey thank you. I have known people who loved beyond measure and yet found it difficult to express when it came to those moments when they needed to be heard. This one reaches out to all those who haven't heard (much of those needed words) but either already knows that their counterparts love them too much even if they can't speak up OR to all those who are confused and bewildered as to why their lovers don't express that much. Yes guys, THEY do LOVE you. Words fail them sometimes.
