I still feel you

i wrote a poem about an angel, but what is it like from the others view?

You were torn from my life leaving my heart in darkness,

you were my friend and my lover yet you left me,

You were always by my side but now you're gone,

I still feel you, are you still here?

 

My life still flows,

but now it's just an empty ocean,

no light, no hope, no happiness,

can you hear me cry? can you hear me calling?

 

I have found a friend,

a kindred spirit you saved me from the darkness,

but i still see you in his eyes,

can you see me? do you feel my pain?

 

I now can smile,

i have you again at last,

you heard my cry and you touched my heart,

you fill my ocean with the soft touch of another's love

If you search my earlier work you'll see i wrote a poem called angel. Well i had a mental block for a while but inspiratiuon hit when i re-read it and wondered how would it feel to be on the otherside of this relationship, please tell me what you think :)
