Double Baby Stroller

Double Baby Stroller

A Poem by Foster Poetry
"

Observation of a mother walking across my car and waiting on a corner.

"
A mother pushes her two children in a stroller
The girl in the front faces out
The girl in the back faces in
The child in front see's all the world opening up
The child in back see's the shelter and security of mom
One is not better than the other
The difference makes them both whole
What do we choose from day to day?
To open up to what the world can bring to us
Or to fall back into what is familiar
We need both to be human
