Lacing a Landscape

crimson air floats

amid lithe ethereal clouds

and golden glowing light

 red velvet haze 

streaks across

 the majestic mountain

 range with pink peaks

 reaching heaven's floor

a dense fuchsia fog

 drifts by like magic paint

from an artist brush

 

perhaps wishing to enhance

the view 

splashes of color ..soft  shades

from a pastel palette 

an array of gold, scarlet and

ruby mixed hues

lacing a landscape of dreams

I love this Fran. As an artist I can see all these dreamy colors fused together on a pallet; pinks and fuchsia and splashes of other colors. I can imagine the textures too. The artist's brush is soft, perhaps allowing colors to coalesce.... the words are soft mimicking the artist's masterpiece.

Wow, the colors in this, the vivid imagery was like a painting in of itself. A beautiful, sort of surreal write, and I adore the name. This poem almost reminds me of childlike wonder, seeing things for the first time, beautiful views and sunrises. The way you wrote it does feel very dreamlike. Thank you so much for sharing!
