Yeah, yeah,I know that's two months in a row
so what's your point ?
Are you saying that it's a double whammy?
Yes, I think it's really going to be a bad luck day
for every one with a full moon riding the crest of
a windy midnight sky
Aw, I don't believe that it's bad luck.
I watched the calender and noticed how
the days shift around,it is odd but then February
only had 28 days or else the 13 th would fall on the
fifteenth which really is the date for the Ides of March
Isn't it? which in turn would push the Ides into the
seventeenth,if not I stand corrected.
Yes, but still it makes me feel uneasy and on edge
I even went out to the shed and brought my trusty
shot gun into the house just in case.
In case of what ?
Ha, surely not, you must be paranoid.
Er...well, maybe so, but I had a bitter taste in my
mouth and it wasn't from eating lemons or oranges.
I also sensed a dark evil wind over shadow my very being.
My hands shook so bad I had trouble cleaning the gun.
Good grief, now you're really scaring me, I am becoming
paraniod listening to you go on about Friday the 13 th
You're taking my mind to places I don't want to go!
Yes, I know, but, well you know I do have a keen insight
about these things and have seen the visions of things
to come.
Yeah, well, just the same you're creeping me out with
your psyhic predictions and bad omen warnings, not because
you're off the mark, but rather because you're always right!
Well, I must go home now, I'm sorry if I scared you but remember
what happened on the last friday the 13th during the full moon
when it came for me, I just want to be better prepared this time.
Yeah I remember, before your go take these golden amulets as tokens of good luck.
Thanks, I need all the luck I can get, by the way you wouldn't happen
to have a silver bullet handy, would you?
An interesting conversation. Friday the thirteenth or not, I sleep with a loaded gun and I'm a sure shot marksman too. They actually make pure silver capped hollow points in a combat load for a .357 magnum, I've shot them. But the silver caps are for better trajectory, not werewolves....at least that's what THEY say. lol They do blow one one mean nasty hole in stuff.
I enjoyed this. It was creepy, but in a very gentle sort of way, considering the themes. I like the kinds of tales that draw your imagination; I much prefer them to the kind the psychologically and emotionally bludgeoning kind of horror that seems to be the typical fair these days.
:) eh eh eh! For me the guns are tokens of really "bad luck", they bring all the evil things and thoughts with them. I would never feel save around one, even a little one, even a play one!
as for the friday 13, they always brough something good - may be because i was always looking for them!
nice read! beautiful way of telling a story!
nice poem
im guessing
that ur somewhat annoyed
by how "oh its Friday the 13th" and what not
some thing w/ me I mean i don't see why
people think that its such a big deal
Who came up w/ that theory anyways?

This was really good for a ten worded poem. And I found the two Friday the 13ths was somewhat humorous because my second cousin's daughter's birthday was on February 13th. xD
