As of Light

As of Light

As of Light

Changing winds compell my heart to race,

A butterfly swarms unable to find its place.

Caught between a fantasy and what's real

Her scent never known, my heart never shown,

The very restraints breaking at the seam's.

No longer does darkness haunt my dreams

A reason to pick up my crushed soul,

searching for the other half to mend this darkened hole.

Fear forgotten and trust renewed within

She lights the way for a new day to begin

The light in her eyes a cluster of fireflies

Shining amid the grayish mountain sides

Shooting upwards as tearsdrops fall from the skies

Engulfing all into a blazzing swirl of flaming sunrise

So loved was she by the stars, for her insights

The sky spirits gifted to her, purest of all the night lights

This was the birth of the first star to ever be known

Not even God could name the beauty shown

So forever this shooting star

Would burn from a far

Across all the dark in sight

Gift to the world a dream of a memory kept in sight
She is that which is meant to light up the night
Lucy, she is every good and every right
All the truth you push out of sight
Forever through God's might
Inner peace consumed the night
As her spirit burned bright
And she was infinitly
As of Light.
