A Time To Be...

A short Poem written by me a couple of years ago

 

This is a time of new beginings

A time to reflect on what is and what has been

A time to mend my soul, a time to become me

I've been to hell and back, yet I'm still here

Watching, waiting, trying not to live in fear

This is my time, my time to be free

Of devils and demons that still haunt me

Missing out on love, I shed a tear

I have to be strong and move on from here

My future is there, to reach out and touch

But just to get here has taken so much
