Liquid Pain

Tears or Saline water?

Crippled, she follows, so broken and hollow

She's tired and confused as her spirit's abused

A restless soul racing out of control

Empty and used, his sympathy, refused

Her tears, a reflection of his constant rejection

Her purpose to stay, now fading away

His promises and lies are the same in her eyes

It's the price that she pays for loving him this way

No more than a token, their love is now broken

As her tears leave this stain, 

Ah! Her liquid pain..!!
