No F*****g Respect

No F*****g Respect

A Poem by Ghost
"

just a cry for a little f*****g respect.

"

No respect

Can’t get a little f*****g respect.

Touch what you want.

Do what you want.

No respect.

Can never get a little f*****g respect.

Move that, it’s okay.

Rearrange this, it’s okay.

No respect.

Just need a little f*****g respect.

You don’t care.

Bugs you to be there, must be fair.

No respect.

Want a little f*****g respect.

I’ve asked you twice, no, three times.

Pisses me off, but oh well.

No respect.

What do I have to do for some f*****g respect?

That’s all I need right now.

Just a little f*****g respect outta you.

That’s my god-damn desk.

That’s my P-Oh-S crap you’re touching there.

My own motherfucking space.

Doesn’t bother you a bit, does it?

It was clutter, it was trash, it was s**t.

So you move it.

It was messy, it was dirty, it was wrong.

So you move it.

F**k if it bugged me.

F**k if I told you that.

F**k if I asked you not to.

It bugged you; So I’m so f*****g sorry.

Just needed some f*****g respect.

Just asked for some f*****g respect.

Just wanted a little f*****g respect.

Never gonna get any f*****g respect.

Author's Note

Ghost
I share a room with my mother. And I wrote this because for the 1000th time, she's cleaned off my desk despite me asking her not to touch my shit. I don't care if it is trash. I don't care if what I call clutter she calls SLOB. I don't care. Why?

She doesn't care that I asked her to stop doing it. She doesn't care that it's my desk. She doesn't care that I fucking live here. She doesn't care that every time she just invades my space to clean it like that - she pushes me farther out of the room.

What am I talking about? This isn't my room. I just sleep here

Very gritty and hostile. I had to deal with much the same whenever I roomed with my parent. When I first saw this poem, I was instantly reminded of Rodney Dangerfield with his "no respect" jokes. I couldn't have been more wrong, lol.

Good write, good job.

You had a lot of emotion here, and I think that really fires your writing up to make a great poem. This was very nicely written, I liked it. Good job.

I know the feeling. My space get downsized daily. I like the straight to the point and honest words. I hope the poem worked. My complaining don't do a lot. A excellent poem.
