Why do I write poems?

For once again in my life, I am surprised by a very strong question

Why do I write really?

Does it have to do anything with me and my pen? Nope

I have no reasons upon writing, it’s just my way of life, enjoying life

Like love, you don’t need any reason to fall in love but it’s captivating

Think about it, remove love in your life, what are you?

Love just makes life wonderful

Enjoy your life, love, and be loved

Love works wonders and so does poetry, so does my poems

My poems are part of my life

The bits of the pieces

The dots that are yet to be connected

The mystery that’s yet to be solved

The lines that are yet to be written in a book

The story that has yet to be shared

and

The memories that are yet to be enjoyed and reminisced

While I am still around in this world

The things I’ve done and the thing’s I’ve yet to do

Are bound to be written in a piece too

As I am enjoying life

The life I lived will always be like a poem

Live with a beginning

and

Live with the ending

The reason I write poems is because I enjoy expressing myself by way of words. I cannot draw, sing, play music or paint. But I connect with words and can scribble away for hours and hours. The only thing that comes in the way of me and my scribbling is work, duty and responsibilities. Or I'd never let go of the pen.
