Loose Chains

Loose Chains

A Poem by GZ

As blurry visions obfuscate my mind,
this concave glass gets full and dry,
my mind search signs,
your Gods seem blind,
those future generations need a guide.

A guide to lead them to the truth,
from this hell you call earth,
to this heaven that's earth too.

Released beasts with sold souls,
mercenaries paid with gold,
greed from their first day straight to their last tomb.

As my words get lost in prose,
those kids need to know our world,
understand society's work,
grow up strong and break those chains that don't let them go,
to taste freedom, once for all.
