Words

I came up with this, i write all my poems rough draft only, that way it still has the pure emotions i used when writing them.

The words are only

A way to feel less scared

To feel like someone is there.

To feel like you can trust

Or not trust

Words that are mean.

They are just words,

Or are they?

The words create chemicals in our heads

To make us feel happy or sad.

then we say words back.

Or just an action,

To tell the truth,

Words and actions are the same

in a story book.

so why not in In real life?

I will tell you why.

We cannot see whats happening all the time

Our range of sight,

Is not as tight

as our range of hearing.

We can hear miles away.

but see only in front of us.

A circle versus a triangle.

Thought provoking and philosophical. I enjoyed it and ended up reading it again. Well done.

One small note, both times I read it, "The words create chemicals in our heads," pulled me, the reader, back into reality.
For such a deep and philosophical poem, it doesn't seem to fit for me.

Still, I thoroughly enjoyed it.
