Old Boots, New Shoes

Old Boots, New Shoes

A Poem by C. Johnson
"

To you Megan, it aptly describes your persona at the moment. Or so you'd have us all think, I'd rather not have wasted ink

"
Wylder?
Those worn-down boots are out of style.
You've bought new shoes to doubt past miles.
And though the dust will erase old paces,
You're going forward to face new laces.

I like it. It's short and simple, but says alot in few words. Also the meaning isn't so in your face and obvious. Nice read.

I'm an artistic soul, using visuals to convey how I truly feel. I love history and love it even more so when portrayed right. I love eclectic styles and vintage french posters. Old coins, unconvention.. more..
