Night Howl

Night Howl

A Poem by Geralyn Miller
"

WOTD #44

"

     Drawn to desert hills,

        ululate till coyote

    answers with his howl.

          Coyote and I

   howl till the desert echoes

     with the freedom sound.

     The Moon laughs at us,

  such silly, noisy creatures,

      not like her at all.

Love this, very beautiful in its imagery, I love coyotes, love to hear them sing.

Felt like I was sitting on the front porch watching the desert come to a close, nothing quite as beautiful as that. And when the moon comes into play and you are able to see her from a zillion miles away, its time to appreciate where we live. Nice work Phoenix.....Phoenix, in da houuuussseeeee!!!!
