Peace and Justice

Peace and Justice

A Poem by Geralyn Miller
"

unfortunately, factual

"

Her name is Christina Taylor Green,

she is only nine years old.

A bright, loving child,

so excited to meet and speak to,

her elected representative,

Gabby Gifford.

Grassroots politics

at its finest.

Her name is Christina Taylor Green,

she is only nine years old.

Gunned down by a madman

with a thirty shot clip;

she lies in the parking lot

bloody and dead;

wearing a shirt

that reads

                "Peace and Justice"

What a story !! What a way you told it. I was watching this film "In the Bedroom" based on a dark theme like this. It's a lovely poem, heartfelt and speaking to the damn wrongs that happen, that cannot be undone..
