Love Lessons

Love Lessons

A Poem by Geralyn Miller

Each time we fall in love,

it is a learning experience.

It does not matter

the kind of love,

nor how it ends.

Sometimes love ends

with a broken heart

and a downpour of tears.

Or a storm of anger

and a wrath of bitter words.

Or sometimes just a whimper,

nothing more.

Best of all are the times

we find love

that makes us better

than ever we were before.

Love is a Learning experience.

There are many kinds of love, relationship love, family love, the love of a friend, loving a child can teach many lessons;even the love of a pet has things to teach us.

I think you've said it all, Geralyn...
Love is....never ending
I loved the lesson
allen
now for the critique...minor spelling mistake (downpour of tear(s))...
also I think if you separated the second line (like the final line) and used it as the introduction..to the poem

Love is a Learning Experience,

Each time we fall in love

It would have a more dramatic feel to the final line. I don't know, just thinking out loud... :)
an excellent write as is...
If you want to read another on love....please read ...Love (from me)

The words are true in your poem. If we don't test love and learn the boundaries. We will never know what real love is.
"Love is a Learning experience."
A outstanding poem of love.

In this poem I saw truth and wisdom due to authentic experience. Love really is a lesson. I've tried different loves, some of which broke, still haven't seriously tried the pet-human love. Smoothly written.
