You have been on my mind,

Like honey on the minds of bears,

waiting for its sweetness to pull them from there gloom.

Or sunrise on the minds of flowers,

whose warmth will soon let them bloom.

Like poems on the minds of poets,

whose purpose gives them cause.

Like kisses on the mind of lips,

that dream of one day meeting yours.

However, my thoughts betray me.

For no matter how vivid my imagination,

you are always sweeter in person.
